Page Speed Test
Get Core Web Vitals and load times via Google PageSpeed Insights.
What does this page speed test do?
It runs Google PageSpeed Insights on any URL and shows the same data Google itself uses to score Core Web Vitals. You get a performance score, plus the actual LCP, FCP, CLS, TBT, Speed Index, and Time to Interactive numbers for both mobile and desktop tests.
Why does page speed matter for SEO?
Core Web Vitals are confirmed Google ranking signals. Slow pages also see lower conversion rates, higher bounce rates, and worse mobile experience scores. A page that scores eighty plus on mobile usually wins on every engagement metric too.
How do you use this tool?
- Enter the URL you want to test.
- Choose mobile or desktop. Mobile is what Google primarily uses for ranking.
- Click Run PageSpeed test. The first run can take twenty to forty seconds.
- Read the score, then dig into the specific metrics.
When are scores misleading?
A single test on a single URL is just a snapshot. Real visitor data from Chrome User Experience Report tells the truer story over time. Always look at field data when available, and run lab tests several times to average out variance.
