Broken Link Checker
Find broken internal and external links on any page.
What does this broken link checker do?
It crawls a single page, finds every outbound link, and tests each one for HTTP errors. Anything that returns a four hundred class or five hundred class status code or fails entirely shows up red. Working links show up green.
Why fix broken links on your site?
Broken links waste crawl budget, frustrate visitors, and signal a stale site to search engines. Internal broken links hurt the most because they break your internal linking structure. External broken links matter too, since pointing to dead pages reflects badly on your editorial quality.
How do you use this tool?
- Paste the URL of the page you want to scan.
- Click Scan links.
- Wait while the tool tests every link in the page. The first sixty are checked.
- Fix or remove anything in the red rows.
When should you run a full site audit instead?
If you have hundreds of pages, run a desktop crawler like Screaming Frog or a paid SaaS tool that can handle the full site at once. This page level checker is for spot fixes and quick audits during edits.
