Search Intent Classifier
Classify keywords as informational, navigational, commercial, or transactional.
What is search intent?
Search intent is the reason a user types a query. Google groups it into four types. Informational means the user wants to learn. Navigational means they want a specific site. Commercial means they are researching products. Transactional means they are ready to buy or act.
Why classify intent for SEO?
Google ranks pages that match the intent of the query. Even great content fails when the format does not match. A how to guide will not rank for a transactional query like buy nike shoes, no matter how long it is. Classifying intent before writing prevents this mistake.

When does intent get tricky?
Mixed intent keywords like best laptops sit between commercial and informational. The SERP usually shows a mix of buying guides and review pages. Match whichever format dominates the top three results.
