WebP Converter

It converts JPG or PNG images into the WebP format, which is the modern web standard for images. The browser handles the conversion locally so your files stay private. You drop the originals, set a quality level, and download the WebP copies.

WebP files are typically twenty five to thirty five percent smaller than the same JPG at equal visual quality, and even smaller than PNG with transparency. Smaller files mean faster pages, better Core Web Vitals scores, and a real ranking edge. Every modern browser supports WebP today, including Safari.

1. Drop your JPG or PNG files into the upload area.
2. Adjust the quality slider, eighty percent is a great starting point.
3. Click Download WebP next to each converted file.
4. Use the new files in your CMS, with a fallback to JPG for very old browsers if needed.

Skip WebP only when your CMS or stock photo service blocks the format on upload, or when you need to print the image. For normal web use it should now be your default.
