Hosting Provider Checker
See which company hosts a website and where the server sits.
What does this hosting checker do?
It tells you which company hosts a website and where their server lives. The tool resolves the domain to an IP, then queries an IP intelligence database to return the hosting provider, the parent organization, and the country, region, and city of the data center.
Why find out who hosts a site?
SEOs use this when investigating competitors to compare hosting performance. Buyers checking a domain want to know if it sits on quality infrastructure or shared budget hosting. Security teams check hosting to spot suspicious origin patterns.
How do you use the tool?
- Type the domain you want to inspect.
- Click Check hosting.
- Read the IP address, ISP, organization, AS number, and geographic location of the server.
When is the location not the real owner?
If the site sits behind Cloudflare or another reverse proxy, the IP shown will be the proxy network, not the origin server. The location will reflect the closest proxy node, not where the actual content is stored.
